Always be a little kinder than necessary.

Last night Conor and I went to an art show with 3 of our favourite people – Jon, Natalia and Hendrix. It was a really cool show too! It was an exhibit of an artist commonly known as “Bigfoot,” simply because his art is of bigfoot with a graffiti art feel. Bigfoot himself was there at a desk, signing posters, which was all he did. He hardly noticed when adorable Hendrix said, “hi.” He looked like such a tormented artist, long, black, wavy hair and facial hair, skinny jeans, high tops, all black. Basically a punk, but our companions told us that Bigfoot is all about natural; he’s a vegan, etc. Some of his art I dislike (like the subtle planting pot of marijuana that says “legalize”), but most of it is so neat. It was such a party atmosphere too – a bar, deejay, a fire outside on the curb (with chainsaws and logs). Anyways, it was a super fun evening!

That picture belongs in your house Katie!! /images/smileys/icon_smile.gif I love it. What a fun date night, it’s great to branch out beyond going to the movies and try something new. Your friends little guy is adorable (I mean the one in the green jacket, not with the webbed glove). ROTFL

Isn’t he adorable? Conor and I are having serious attachment issues. We’re going to miss him so much!

fun! I haven’t been to an art show in forever. Of all people I really should do that more! Thanks for the inspiration. Kent and I will have to plan that one night.

That was fun meeting “bigfoot” in person. Plus dinner was d-lish! The only bad thing was Conors poor cold knee /images/smileys/icon_sad.gif Thanks by the way for hangin out with Hendrix while we made our purchase!

Big foot looks a little lost… like he is searching for some meaning in life… but doesn’t want to buckle down and do the hard work. Or perhaps he idolizes the freedom of the mythical bigfoot and is searching for release in illegal drugs. An interesting statement is being made with his work. If people saw a photo of me i wonder what they would think?
