Catalogue Katie gets Sick and Sews!

As I was recovering from a most gruesome wisdom tooth experience, I sewed. I’m not even going to count the number of jaws that just hit the floor. What else was I supposed to do when I felt tired and a little crummy? I had to feel productive in some way. I made a jacket, McCalls 5530. It turned out great and I’m really happy with it. I lengthened it by 2 inches (thank goodness!) and I wish I had done bound button holes, but you don’t see the button holes anyways. A couple of the markings were confusing, but alas I figured it out! Do you like it?

It’s super cute! I’ve been thinking about trying out a jacket, myself! The “light” jacket that I’ve had since I was in high school just isn’t cutting it anymore – the style is all wrong! Where did you find your fabric? It’s gorgeous!

Super Duper Cute Jacket! I can’t believe you could work on a project like that when you were nursing your poor wisdom tooth sockets! AMAZING.

okay, First, Daria!  Hands OFF !  No trying to suck them into the Lethbridge vortex allowed!  I miss you guys too much already.
And Katie, who but you could be walking aroudn like a little mini chipmunk popping pain pills and starving and STILL manage to crank out something gorgeous.  Its postively sickening- and yet oddly inspiring.  You take the cake, Kiddo.  Nice work!
