Christmas Dilemmas
14 Nov, 2007Christmas seems so close yet so far. I’ve been trying my hardest to find a way to hitch-hike our gifts up to Canada. So far no luck, but I haven’t exhausted my resources just yet. Christmas is on my mind all the time. I’ve recently been trying to decide if we’ll have a tree and if we will, then what kind? Should we do a real tree or should we buy a little 3-foot tree? So many questions. Another thought weighing heavy on my mind is stockings. I have not made stockings for Conor and I yet. Whether I intend to or not isn’t the question. The questions lie in pattern, fabric and design. I can’t decide between retro-vintage or classic fabric nor will my mind settle on one “style” of stocking. One thing I know for sure is that I want to purchase quite a bit of extra fabric and make a tree skirt and Christmas quilt from the same fabric my family’s stockings are made from. So you can see why this is such a monumental decision. Once I chose the fabric, design and pattern it will be for a life time and then some. Oh Christmas. If anyone has any advice, I’d be glad to eat it up!!
