Last post I was loving the warm weather. And I certainly was! Yesterday was 22 degrees celsius – certainly t-shirt weather. BUT in the middle of last night I was woken up by such a clattering of the blinds! It had gotten so incredibly windy outside, like howling wind. This morning we awoke to snow falling every which direction being blown by that same howling wind. When I looked out the front window at 7 AM I couldn’t even see that tall Loew’s building shown in the landscape picture below!

As for CK, you can see in the photo that the wind was certainly a-going! In this edition, I’m wearing a blue cardigan (I adore cardigans) over a cream coloured A-line tee that has some great feminine details, brown fishnet stockings, pearls and a skirt I made in grade 10 Fashion class.

Now, if my readers will indulge me, I’d like to share a humourous (to me) story about this skirt. I made it in class so obviously it was worth marks. Before I began serging the side seams, our teacher reminded us to be very careful and not catch the skirt in the serger or else we’d be left with a hole and a ruined garment. Ya ya. Well guess who caught her skirt in the serger and applied a small hole, but a hole nonetheless? Yup! I did! Fortunately our teacher had taught us to mend before we began sewing garments and so I patched the hole and kept the tale between myself and my sewing table and the teacher never noticed! I got top marks! Secrecy pays off. Okay, and I’ve got to explain the boots. 1. It’s snowing. 2. I have a blister the size of a quarter on my left big toe and therefore am experiencing some throbbing pain. As a result I’m not feeling very eager to prance around in heels of any sort. Hope you all enjoy your Sunday! We’re off to stake conference really soon to find out who our new stake presidency is going to be, not that it really matters since we won’t even be around for half of their stewardship.
