I have been the biggest cry baby ever over the past couple of days. I think it has something to do with the extreme fatigue I’ve been feeling. For example, Saturday night I bawled because I was so stinking tired. And then last night I was astronomically emotional because we had just finished watching “The Notebook,” and I felt movingly in love with Conor. It doesn’t end there folks. Conor and I read a short ensign article together (“Learning Not To Count” by Steffani R. Packer, page 52) and I was really touched by the story; Weepingly touched, emotionally touched. I’m pathetic.

04 Dec, 2007I myself had one of those good cries the other night. I hate crying!! I hold it ina dn then every now and again Kent gets a load of tears, I think he secretly likes because I am all volnerable and cry on his shoulder and hten he gets to be the big strong husband. So i guess maybe it’s not all bad! Besides don’t you feel better after a good cry!?

04 Dec, 2007All that plus, anyone who doesn’t cry in the Notebook – a definite 3 hanky movie!- wouldn’t be normal! When we went and saw it, I can remember hearing MEN audibly in the audience. It is one of the top tear- jerker movies of all time I think!
Meanwhile, hang in there!
Chocolate helps, too.

05 Dec, 2007It’s just when I cry over essentially nothing that I get a little concerned. Luckily today is thus far proving to be a much better day!

It’s been my experience that when you have those times of emotion and bawling that you just need to let those feelings come, let yourself get it all out. Crying is actually really good for you, it relieves stress (and moisturizes your cheeks too! )
I’ve heard from Mom several times that Nicole schedules a good crying day every month or so! I love that. I’m more moody than Nicole and frequently cry far more often. I always cry when watching the Notebook too, you’re not alone in that.
Hang in there Katie, there’s nothing wrong with crying. I think it takes a strong person to allow themselves to cry.
