First off, Liz you’ll just have to have a fourth child. Second, yes Jim we do owe you another batch of cookies. You’ll be glad you waited until September when I come home with a variety of chocolate chips!
Conor and I almost came home on Saturday. But instead, we worked something out with Johnny and Jason. I am going to work part-time in the office and part-time on the doors, which basically means I won’t receive so much rejection! I am really loving this simply because now I have time to bake bread, clean house, grocery shop, do laundry, etc. It’s really fabulous because I’ll be able to make sure there is good food to eat in the fridge. As I result I think both Conor and I will have way more energy. I’m so glad. On Saturday I realized that all I want to be is a wife and a mother. I really enjoy being a homemaker and I think that that is the only thing that will bring me a fullness of happiness. I love keeping my house clean, baking bread, making dinner… I plan on being just like my mum and having dinner at 5:30 every weekday evening. I really love taking care of Conor and making sure he’s well fed, has clean clothes and a tidy house to come home to. I am excited to through some children into the equation. I think everything will just get better with babies. Ha! Am I naive?

I’m so happy for you that you’ll be able to get away from some of that rejection and do some of the things you enjoy. It’s great that you have already realized what you want to do, the world needs great mothers and you’ll definitely be one of those! For me, the homemaker stuff comes much much harder – but I somehow think you’ll be a superstar at it. I will say that throwing some kids into the equation can shake things up a bit /images/smileys/icon_smile.gif but in a good way.
looking forward to the cookies – my Bday is Sept.28th so save some of those fab chocochips for me!! /images/smileys/icon_smile.gif
