Last night I was lucky enough to take care of two of my most favourite girls ever! My nieces Freyja and Cora came over for an evening of fun. And we did have lots of fun despite the fact that there are a whole lot less toys here at my parents’ house than I last remembered. Oops! Freyja was in heaven because my family has two dogs and two cats. She wanted to feed them and pet them and she even tried to ride one of them once. Nearing the end of our night I gave Freyja a dog treat to give to one of the dogs (sit, shake a paw, etc) and I handed the other treat over, without explanation – just assuming she would know, to my sugar-loving, treat-devouring Cora. After Freyja had given her treat to a dog, I looked over at Cora only to notice a protruding chipmunk cheek! She had put the dog treat into her mouth and was munching away! Oh I freaked out and made her spit it out and then have a drink of water. Throughout all of this she was rather silent so I’m not sure if she didn’t mind the dog treat. Freyja and I had a good long, gut-splitting laugh over that. Silly Cora!
