Found: a baby duck in the window well. He/She was smaller than the palm of my hand, supra light and pretty dang spunky.

Question: what do you do with a baby duck? We’ve never even seen ducks around our side of town.

We sent the poor thing home with Nicole and her children. Unfortunately for my heartstrings the little thing preferred my warm hand to a shoe box. I can’t even explain how sweet and cute this baby duck is. I’m in insta-love. So what do you do for the duck? I’m thinking it would be impossible to hunt down it’s Momma. We’re trying to get ahold of the zoo and Butterfield acres. Any other ideas?

I sure wish my mom was in town. She has had every pet possible under the sun.
