Isn’t Daria the best? She has so many secrets to reveal! I checked out the blogsite, freshly baked today and was thoroughly impressed. As you can see it’s been added to my blogroll. I am extremely excited to try out the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies. I don’t know what it is with me and pumpkin. Ever since I tried Pumpkin ice cream at the Marble Slab a year ago, I’ve been head over heels about everything pumpkin (with the exclusion of pumpkin pie… odd I know). I found a pumpkin soup recipe in October’s Martha Stewart magazine and am so excited to try it out! Yum! I’m thinking about buying a couple pumpkins, baking them and then freezing the good stuff. I wonder if that is cost friendly?
Here’s an update on the unpacking: We’ve put up 2 photo frames – one of roses in the bathroom, and the one President and Sister Vriens gave us of Pratt’s hill. That one went over the bed. The living room has been fiddled with so that the couch has a place. I even browned ground beef today. I’ll be doing a lot of organizing over the next week or two until I have everything just the way I want it! Oh! And it sounds like Conor and Dad found some stools for the counter top at American Furniture Warehouse (not to be confused with the Canadian one). Those two are quite the pair. Today they went on and on about things to slipcover. Like to G5 box. Oh brother. Tonight we’re thinking about going to see Transformers at the imax theatre. Fun fun!
