Conor has a nice bump on his arm. It’s super red and then has a toonie sized red patch around it. We can feel more swelling underneath the bump. It was really bad today but that’s cuz he was picking at it and trying to “pop” it last night. Gross. I know. We didn’t know what it was from, but it hurts whenever pressure is applied. I theorized that there was a spider in the basil I bought and it bit him. Although the plastic container that the basil was in wasn’t completely sealed so my theory definitely has some holes. We’re hoping he doesn’t loose his arm. Just kidding.

I think that begs for more details! EWWWW! I’ve been bit by a spider in the shower! It’s no joke!

Sounds like whatever it is it is infected.  If the swelling hasn’t gone away by now, then Conor probably needs to be seen by a doctor. It could be shingles or an allergic reaction or any number of things. I hope you’re putting some sort of antibiotic/polysporin on it, and he could try taking benadryl to rule out allergy.
