And now that you don't have to be perfect, you can be good.

John Steinbeck

Okay! Well I wrote a blog yesterday and got distracted and I didn’t save the dang thing so here I go… again!

Saturday night we did manage to locate the baseball tickets and we did go to the baseball game. It was so fun! I never ever imagined that a baseball game would be so thrilling and fulfilling, but hey! you learn something new every day. It was just one of the best times. It was so fun to just go out with Conor and do something neither of us has ever done before. The Coors Field stadium is fairly new and really nice. It’s huge too! We sat one row below the mile high seats. At first I felt a little freaked out at being so steaply high up, but I stayed calm and relaxed. What a great experience! We totally want to go to another game again. It was even more fun that the home team won! One time, everyone in the stadium did the wave and it went around a couple times too which was really impressive. Oh and at I think maybe the seventh inning (during the inning stretch), everyone stood up and sang the ball game song… you know…

“Take me out to the ball game
Take me out to the crowds
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks
I don’t care if I never come back
‘Cuz it’s root root root for the home team
If they don’t win it’s a shame
Because it’s one, two, three strikes your out
At the old ball game!”

One of the funny parts with that is that the song was played sing-a-long style on the big screen except the notes they put with it weren’t even close to the right notes pitch wise and tempo wise!
