The last time I lived in Calgary, I was a Primary teacher and taught the CTR 6 class. For the majority of my time as the teacher, I had a group of all girls. Looking back, I really enjoyed it even though I often felt inadequate and wondered if what I was teaching was being absorbed. Today, I received a card and a homemade snowflake magnet in the mail from one little girl that was in my class thanking me for being a “great” teacher. Isn’t that just the sweetest thing? I’m unable to put into words how touched and special I felt.

28 Jan, 2009That is so nice. I really like the magnet too. It’s a good reminder for me to show my appreciation more.
Speaking of-thanks for being our new Activity Day leader. From what Gayle said on Sunday night, it sounds like you guys are doing so many fun things.
Hope you’re feeling well.
