“And now that you don't have to be perfect, you can be good.”
John Steinbeck

Greta has the sweetest little face and I'm determined to make pigtails her signature look. One of her favorite "naughty" activity is pulling all the diapers out the basket. She just loves her messes!

Greta has decided to walk! Every day she takes more steps and every day she's a little more steady. Greta thinks she's the best thing since sliced bread. She is so dang pleased with herself! And by the way we all cheer for her, Holly included, it's no wonder! I think watching my children learning how to walk is one of my favorite parts of motherhood so far. It's so exciting! And their little personalities shine in a whole new way. Greta, I love you!

After the wedding reception, we went to a little park in Beverly Hills with Conor's parents. Holly loved the big fish in the pond! It was great to spend some relaxed time with Catherine and Jim. After Elizabeth and Nicole were finished taking photos, we grabbed them and then had a little Pajama party at their hotel room. It was a great day!

Last weekend, we made a quick trip to LA. It was a bit rough getting out the door (we had to pop by at the ER because Greta ate something she shouldn't have. She was totally fine, but I was more than a touch razzled!), but we made it and we're ever so glad we went. It was so wonderful to be at Mary-Ann's wedding! And it was just heaven to spend time with Conor's parents and sisters. Holly and Greta adore their Nana and Papa! Greta had no problems cuddling right in and Holly just wanted to be near them all. the. time. No matter what! I love the photos I took. They capture the emotion perfectly. The happiness and the contentment. The tender moments. This is what family is all about. I'm lucky to have in-laws that love me and my little family so much!
