Father and Daughter

Always be a little kinder than necessary.

Holly sewed something when my back was turned. She was really impressed with herself and I wasn't as much. But then I realized it's cute and funny. She used the hand wheel to sew through a yogurt top. I desperately hope that my girls want to sew with me one day. Or at least will always wear the things I make for them.

That’s so funny and so cute! I love her outfit too. You are such an accomplished seamstress and you have great taste - I hope they will always want to wear what you sew for them!

elizabeth

cute!

She’s so cute, she just wants to be like her momma! I learned to sew when I was 4 at a class at my neighbor’s house and I loved it, we made doll pillowcases, totes, and a pair of shorts. Clearly I didn’t practice enough in the 26 years in between! But I think kids are capable of more than we think at a young age, Holly’s clearly going to follow in your footsteps!!

Allison

Yup I probably would have been shocked and peeved at first!! But really, didn’t you always want an activia lid sewed by your 2 year old daughter? Lol! Go Holly, Go!

Daria

Awesome! I love that Holly goes straight for the detail work on a tiny yogurt lid. She’s darling!!
