I’m going to take one from my friend, Melanie and her great blog, http://youaremyfave.blogspot.com/, although I am not going to be as original as she is on this peticular day. I picked up my daily dose of Design*Sponge and got inspired! I can’t wait to get into my own space that I can have a feel for and decorate. I love decorating and dreaming… Anyways! This sneak peek is essentially wonderful and beautiful. I checked out West Elm and have instantly fallen in love with a couple mirrors and prints. This black urn print is so simple and beautiful although this crown print is the one that gets me really salivating! Oh and this mirror is my true love!

It seems like I’ve been posting lots of photos recently probably because I have. These days I feel lame posting if I don’t have at least one photo. Here’s some more shots from this evening. We went for a walk with Conor’s folks and the Cranmer family. I took all the photos except for the the one of vienna and the one of me holding the Segster, which Conor took and I edited. Most of the photos have a sepia tint to them because I found the colours to be a bit harsh and plus I really like black and white or sepia. Enjoy!
Work has gotten so blah, so boring, so mundane! Time for a career change. Just kidding (sort of). I’ll hang in there and hopefully for not too much longer…
Every other weekend, I work Friday and Saturday and I swear, every Friday night that leads into a working Saturday Conor and I stay up so late and I wake up feeling trashed the next morning. Yup. Every. Friday. Night. Last night was no exception. Jim treated us to the new Batman movie and we, being unable to resist (although I was halfway to saying, “no thank you”) went and saw the show. It was really good although had an obviously different mood from the first one. It really was much darker and creepier. I would never guess that Heath Ledger played the Joker. I must say that he did a wonderful job and I have no complaints about the character with the exception of him being a super creep. Christian Bale was fabulous yet again. Oh and what I didn’t know is that two-face is in the movie as well. Who knew?? I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to own it. On another note, although the movie is rated PG, it is in it’s own way disturbing and a little bit more thick in plot. True to this new Batman series thus far, there are no swears, nudity, sex, etc, etc. Overall the movie is impeccably clean. The only thing that got me was the psychotic Joker.

Hi there… again. I’ve really enjoyed posting photos and I’ve really, really liked taking them! I love taking 10 photos just so I can have the perfect one. It’s so fun to edit all the photos and see what I end up with! Here are a bunch of my favs from a BBQ we had at Fish Creek Park tonight.

Lost and now found is how I would describe this fabric. For me this piece of fabric really does have a story and a bit of evolution that might come in full circle. I love this fabric. Conor and I first bought it shortly after we were married 2 years ago. Conor spotted it, which he is rather proud of, and for $5 a meter, we couldn’t go wrong. Now, the reason why we were looking for fabric in the first place is quite peculiar. See, there were these little girls that had a slight infatuation with Conor and a large amount of curiosity about our home. They were so bold as to peer through our windows; bedroom, kitchen and living room. Fortunately the only window missing any sort of covering (ghastly or not) was the kitchen window. So off we went and bought this beautiful fabric. My mom helped me whip up some quick curtains and privacy became fully ours. After we moved from that first apartment, the curtains became cushions. And now I am the proud owner of 2 more meters! I’m just salivating over this fabric and racking my brains of a way I can make this most of it. I’m thinking I might make curtains out of it, you know use it for the last 1/4 of the curtain. So many choices!
