I really wanted a way to document my children's artistic abilities as they grow and have art they've made that's worth keeping and will keep well. My solution? Each year, around my children's birthday, starting at age 2, they'll get to create a piece of art on canvas. I loved doing this with Holly and I adore the result. I think that one day we'll have a very interesting collage. I found this to be a really affordable option especially since I don't have to frame the canvas. I also made a complimentary piece using this tutorial. I'm dying over the metallic art pieces that are shown in the tutorial's example, but as I mentioned yesterday, I'm quickly running out of wall space!
