I love to read. LOVE it. It’s one of my favourite things. I devoured all of the Harry Potter books in my youth. Little House on the Prairie series I absolutely chewed through at least 2 or 3 times. Babysitter club when I was in elementary was a goner. I think they came out with at least 100 books. Booya. I loved those. I’ve started making a list of series I want to read to my children. It’s been a while since I picked up a book. In the spring I read a bunch of Jane Austen’s books. I just crave a good read always. There is nothing better than a good book! Yesterday morning, Conor really wanted a novel and I was totally gun-ho! He bought the book 5 people you meet in heaven or something along those lines. And I bought “Suite Francaise” by Irene Nemirovsky. This book really intrigued me. It begins in 1940 as the Nazis occupy France. This book was actually hidden and unknown for 64 years. The author was highly successful as a writer, however she was a Jew and died in Auschwitz in 1942 and never completed the book. I quite like books based on the wars, first and second. So far I like this book! I would love to hear about everyone’s favourite books! I need to make a “To Read” list. So please tell me what books you like! My only demand is that the books MUST be clean. I’m not the type to be able to just “skip over” the bad parts. Let me know what my next read should be.
