It really was fun to have Christmas in our own little space, even though I felt a touch homesick. We had a realxing day (I got to read a book!), ate my favorite soup and fresh-made rolls for supper, made swedish gingerbread cookies, opened up Christmas pajamas, drove around looking at Christmas lights, and then put the girls to bed. Conor and I enjoyed filling stockings and getting everything ready for Christmas morning. I did a bunch of breakfast prep which made our morning so smooth, yet delicious.
