Nothing like a good compromise! Let me tell you about this one, it’s rich to the brim! So I need a job, like bad. I’m actually finding that a job would be hugely desirous since I don’t have my own place to do my own thing and Conor’s a workaholic. BUT here’s the catch, I don’t have a lot of job experience or education. We weren’t expecting me to ever work again after our big move to Denver. Obviously some things you just can’t plan for (no one knows that better than me!). So it begins… the JOB HUNT. Fortunately Calgary is fortified with job posting and as I’ve roamed through the wild gray meadows of the Herald, I’ve found myself less discouraged about the kill. However, the statement Time is Money has never been truer than right now. And so the edginess builds especially with the knowledge that it would be a snap for me to get something temporary at the good ol’ Gap. I am extremely hesitant about that rodent since I have a complacency addiction, which would lead to problems with getting something more permanent and likable. Back to the compromise: if I don’t have anything that is seriously being tracked and hunted by Friday afternoon, I have to take in a resume to Gap. Conor said so. That was big-time motivation to shoot off resumes. I faxed 7 off and have about 4 more to email. Ahh yeah! Hopefully… hopefully! I have my fingers seriously crossed especially about a Doctor’s assistant position. Wish me luck!
