Last week, Conor and I went on a little date. We jumped into the car and drove to The Shoppe on shady Colfax to decorate cupcakes. The Shoppe is a cupcake, cereal, tea and coffee and design merchandise hubbub – very cute! We were able to wiggle our way to two seats that were close enough to each other and we let the creative juices flow. The cupcakes (chocolate and vanilla) were some of the best I’ve ever had. And even better was the Red Velvet cupcake with a frosty mountain of incredible cream cheese icing that we bought on our way out to share. Best $3 I’ve ever spent. If I could make cream cheese icing like that… well let’s just say our newest family maxim, “that’s how pregnant women get fat” would really come to life!
