And now that you don't have to be perfect, you can be good.

I get it now. I totally understand why Moms tend to shop more for their children. The reasons are as follows: clothes are cheaper, clothes don't have to "fit" just right, and little kid clothes are waaaay cute. Add to it the fact that the kiddos are always growing and constantly needing more clothes (ie: Holly has 2 fall dresses, and not enough pants) and I'm doomed to spend my entire clothing budget on them even though I would really like some new clothes myself. I'm hoping once they have everything they need for this upcoming season, I can finally buy a great pair of jeans! Because I'm worth it. In the meantime, here's a cute little Greta outfit. I love these shorts! And this shirt! This kind of color palette looks so good on my girls.

Holly loves to take pretend photos. Heaven forbid Greta doesn't smile and I find out what I sound like when I bark at Holly to say cheese and smile and look at me.Greta

PS: can I just say how much I despise the color of our walls in our apartment? There's not enough natural light in the main living space either so I am constantly lowering the orange and yellow saturation. Lame-o! I sooo miss our Palladian Blue walls.

Greta's rattle is from Little Sapling Toys. A gift from Momma.

I love the way she wrinkles her nose! Great photo of those new shiney teeth.

Greta Elizabeth is aptly named- she totally has Elizabeth’s scrunchy nose expressions!  Adore that blush pink color on your girls- its like the color was invented just for them!
The rattle screams ‘Conor & Katie’ -the design on this one sure validates  your love of wooden toys—simple, elegant, timeless.
Oh! And on the buying clothes thing- Im half convinced women were born with an extra gene thats sole purpose is to act as radar for cute children’s wear- go to any decent kids shop and listen to the squeals  of delight coming from the patrons- this ‘gene’  knows no boundaries, it seems to come simply with being female- though motherhood makes it worse, and grand-motherhood comes with such a surge of it that it obliterates all reason.  Hope you manage to squeak out a few pennies here and there for your jeans. Meanwhile, I’m squealing looking at the photos…
