I've had the fabric (minus the sashing) to make this quilt for almost 2 years. I really love this fabric! I couldn't decide how to sew it up for a while, which is part of the delay, the other part is just being busy. But, I kept coming across flying geese quilts and each time I thought of this fabric. I love that flying geese quilts are classic yet modern all at once. I had almost enough extra blocks for a baby quilt, so I ended up ordering an extra few fat quarters and some more backing and I made a baby quilt for my friend's soon-to-be new baby girl. So in the end, the fabric got a little extra attention.
