And now that you don't have to be perfect, you can be good.

Tuesday night I made my first special Greta item. I embellished a grey H&M bodysuit (size 0-1 months, it's so tiny!) with blush pink fabric. The fabric is an old t-shirt of mine. I love the colour of it, but the shirt is too short. Aren't I thrifty? And then, I couldn't help myself. I just had to make something matching for Holly. They'll having matching tops right away - true sisters. I envision both girls wearing their shirts when they meet at the hospital... Life is so sweet!

Hey I just started reading your blog and I really enjoy it! All of the things you make are adorable!! I was wondering how you sewed the the pink fabric on the H&M jumpsuit? I am really wanting to learn to add things to baby clothes and just sew in general. I was wondering how you started sewing and how hard it is to learn?

I’m planning on putting together a little tutorial on how to do that embellishing. It’s super easy. Look for it *hopefully* next week!

Holly and Greta are going to be one adorable little pair!  So original to do the embellishing ‘J crew style’ for the girls- you see lots of grown up t’s done, but not many baby ones that have this ethereal, fun edge to them.  Looks like it could be an etsy business to me! lol- ya, in your spare time!
