I want to be better at taking photographs. Not only do I want to be taking more photographs, I want to be taking better, artistic photographs. I want to treat my camera less like a point and shoot and more like the camera that it is. I want to one day have a large collection of beautiful photographs that invoke strong memories and tender feelings.
You can do it, Katie! You already take lots of terrific pictures, so you have a good eye, plus (at least from what I have observed) you tend to accomplish whatever you put your mind to!
I love the photos! The dress Holly is wearing is so cute, I would love to see it in colour.

30 Aug, 2010totally with you on trying to achieve those emotional memory shots. I’ve been taking pics of the kids in dress-up clothes, just because I know my Mom did it and I love those pics! You and Conor or great at taking pics of one another with Holly. Keep that up as you add more kids to the mix!
