This bad boy was a spur of the moment project. I’ve been wanting to make a quilt and knew I needed to make a quilt after this past conference when Conor and I fought over the last quilt I made. We also have a lot of company coming to town in May so I did want to have some extra bedding kicking around for that and I’ve been trying to bust through my fabric stash to make room for our new addition. The only thing I had to purchase for this quilt was batting (woo hoo!). I used muslin for the sashing and scraps and fat quarters for the blocks. The backing is a vintage sheet although I did have to add some extra fabric to make it big enough. It was a really quick and easy quilt to make and only took me a week. This is the largest size quilt I can make in this apartment. It took all of the living room to lay it out!! It turned out to be full-sized. Perfect.
