And now that you don't have to be perfect, you can be good.

Last week, I finished a quilt for one of my good friends here in Denver. She’s having a baby girl, due at the beginning of June. It was my goal to finish this quilt before our ultrasound. I think I did pretty good considering I finished it the day after… it turned out pretty cute!

And here’s a little sneak-a-peak of the quilt I’m doing for our little bundle…

It’s from Heather Bailey‘s Bijoux and Pop Garden collections. I’m thinking of also writing up a tutorial for this simple quilt I have planned. Anyone interested?

Canot wait to see Holly’s quilt evolve !  The colours look a lot like that set from this summer.  Hather Bailey’s are way prettier though!

And definietly bring on the tutorial- I’m so visual, I thrive on that stuff!

It turned out Darling! I like the squigles.  Not distract from the first beauty above…but with fabric like that… I must say that the Fabric is breath taking.. somewhere in the back of my mind i hear this chanting.. “gimmiee gimmiee”  Cant wait to see the finish product!

exciting!

I love the fabric for your next quilt! It’s so pretty. I wouldn’t actually be surprised if I go with some of Heather Bailey’s stuff, too. Thanks again for the quilt – I love it! I was actually planning on posting about this today, so imagine my surprise when I saw it on your blog! Great minds must think alike /images/smileys/icon_smile.gif

Oh… and I’d love to see a tutorial if you’re going to do one.

Katie

I got up this morning thinking I was going to veto the tutorial since I found when cutting and sewing my 20 blocks last night that I didn’t quite measure it out right. But alas, I guess I’m stuck eh? I’ll see what I can pull off for you who expressed interest.

Katie, you are amazing.  I never wanted to learn how to sew before I met you!

elizabeth

Melanie

You forgot to mention how I was a big help in picking out one of the fabrics. So pretty much, I made the quilt.
Just kidding, looks good.
