Conor and I both have a deep loving for clothing; shoes, pants, shirts… every aspect of clothing. I’m almost comfortable with the fact that Conor has more clothes than me. The only time I don’t like it is when I go to the closet to pick out a shirt and I have to push and shove to grab a top! Last night Conor and I flipped through his side of the closet and eliminated 15 shirts, half of which are collared shirts. Despite our valiant attempts the closet is still rather full. I have ideas of what I’m going to do with the shirts that are no longer wearable. The woven shirts I’ll use for quilts, etc and for the knit t-shirts I found this really great idea in my January Martha Stewart Living magazine. I’m going to make T-Shirt Shopping Bags. Should be cute.
What do you do with your clothes that aren’t being worn anymore? I know there’s the classic Good Will solution, but does anyone have any other nifty ideas?
Disclaimer: I regularly flip through my clothes and purge. A few shirts here and there really adds up!
