Holly has discovered her toes. She has always loved it when I’ve dipped them into her mouth during diaper changes, but now she can get those suckers herself. She’s pretty much to die for all together.

And I just love this series of 3 photos:

Hello! Today’s the day for me to share some photos of our Living Room. I made the curtains and pillow covers. Whew! What an amount of work! Our loveseat is from the Corona collection at Macy’s. We bought the couch off of craigslist but first we went to our local Macy’s Furniture to test ‘er out. Who doesn’t love a good deal? And our slipper chairs are from Target. They’re super comfy and I’m really happy with them. The fabric that I used for the curtains and pillows is Joel Dewberry’s Ginseng collection and I bought it off of Etsy for no more than $7 a yard. Some of it was only $5 a yard. Boo ya! (Many thanks to our interior design friend, Lisa Jensen, for the consults).

Do you like our re-designed living room as much as I do?
Did everybody have a good Valentine’s weekend? We sure did! Conor and I went to the temple Saturday afternoon and then re-arranged our living room furniture. On Sunday, we made heart shaped pizzas… yum!
We gifted ourselves some Valentypes from House Industries. Cute, eh?

And Holly, that lucky girl, received some tights all the way from London from some of our good friends. She really likes them. Don’t let the tear on her cheek encourage you to think otherwise. Holly’s an emotional baby these days.

Todnight, I made Holly a pretty, purple pettiskirt. And I think she loves it, or she better. My sewing machine and I have spent a lot of time together this week, curtains, pillows, etc. It was time for something fun and quick. But no, that ruffler foot is the devil. I think I’ve got it, after 3 bent needles, and a few nasty phrases. It was all worth it thought because Holly looks darling, don’t you agree?

A little jaundice, but so cute!
