What a model! She’s surprising me in her “live to eat” attitude. Holly looooves solid food! She’s such a baby bird, open mouth waiting for me to pop a spoon on in! Here she is in her “meant to be fall coat but now it’s a spring coat cuz she’s so tiny.”

I loved New York and I must go back. If I were to go back for a week I would choose to go in April or May. I would walk across the Brooklyn Bridge again and take the [free] Staten Island Ferry and get a good look at the Statue of Liberty. Then I would shop the Flea Market on the DUMBO side of the Brooklyn Bridge (the flea market seemed to be a seasonal thing since it wasn’t up and running when we went). I would spend an afternoon on Spring Street in Soho and visit all of the neat shops. Of course, I’d hit fashion avenue again and visit more fabric shops. I would go back to the MoMA and take a trip to the Metropolitan Museum. I would also love to see “Les Miserable.” Curry Row, Blu, the Shake Shack, Magnolia Bakery and Pinkberry are definite “must-eats.” Am I missing anything? Spend an evening at Times Square, a lifetime in Central Park… Maybe we should just move to NYC for a year or two. That would be quite the experience!

Oh and for anyone going to New York anytime soon, I found a J-Crew sample sale on 36th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue. The place it was at looked set-up for sample sales all the time so check it out! And let me know!
