I’m dying to knock this dress off for the summer. Can she do it? I hope so. It’s simple enough and I’ll be making up my own pattern… there’s a first time for everything!

We could see the Empire State Building from our hotel window. When it was lit up at night (in white, not the festive green and red), it was stunning. Conor, Holly and I took the elevator to the top. Most expensive 20 minutes of my life, but as a first-timer to NYC, I think it was worth it.

This place was huge. And an NBC store? Get out of town. Loved the Magnolia Bakery just down the street. It was adorable and tasty. Killer combo.

I have a new found respect for the designers on Project Runway. And I so wish I had noticed how much those invisible zippers cost. I didn’t even realize until I was at home editing the photo. It was a “argh” moment as I would’ve stocked up!
