I was just thinking that maybe some of you would be interested to know Conor and my favourite baby names (which of course are subject to change, although I doubt it since they’ve been faves for quite some time)! We’re pretty traditional and don’t want crazy names for our children. That’s a whole other story that I could go off on given the opportunity.

Boy:

MAXWELL or CHARLIE (full name Charles)

Girl:

HOLLY and then if we have a second girl, LUCY.

There you have it! Our most favourite names! We are DYING to discover the gender of our little Buster!

On Design Sponge today, a renovated bathroom was featured and it has really fun, spooky prints of skeletons on the wall above the toilet.

(One of the 3)

Conor is in love with the idea of having an industrial office; the clean brushed steel look. I want to accent it with pops of lime green and grey. Crate and Barrel has some things inspiring me like crazy, but that’s totally a tangent. Back to the prints! I’m kind of thinking these would be perfect! You can find them and download them for free on this french website, Planches. So I know it might be kind of creepy/spooky to have these adorning the wall, especially since the office will sometimes be graced by the baby during nap time, but I think that I really like ‘em. Conor? What say you? It’s your office after all.

My first trimester of pregnancy was pretty easy. I was under the impression I could go either way. The McNeill women and some of the LeRoux women barely knew they were pregnant because they just don’t get sick. And then the rest of the LeRoux women (including my Mom) get super duper sick!

I was hardly sick. I have had lots of moments where I wondered if I was really pregnant (still do!) and needless to say, I have hung onto my first ever positive pregnancy test. I had 2.5 – 3 weeks of uneasy nauseousness in the afternoons and evenings, however I never threw up. I came close a couple times (and a lot of times I wished I would so that I could find some relief!), but then I reminded myself that the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in a couple of days and that stopped it in it’s tracks! Oh just thinking about how yucky I felt makes me cringe! Fortunately it was for a very short period of time! Other than that, it’s just been the classic tiredness; I’m really looking forward to this surge of energy that’s supposed to come in the second trimester! I also get really grumpy if I get too hungry, and we recently discovered that a granola bar just won’t cut it when we’re at church! Overall, in terms of sickness, I am one lucky duck!!

We’re just so excited that we get to have a baby! Conor and I both think the little Buster is a boy, however I have my daily day dreams that at the ultrasound, I’ll be told the babe’s a girl!

Not showing, not really at all yet. Still secretly wish I was.

Guess what!!??

Conor and I are having a BABY! We are so so so so excited!

The due date is July 27, 2009 and we plan on having the wee one here in Denver.

This ultrasound was taken nearly 3 weeks ago and was so much better than the other two where the little one was nothing but a couple of sacs!

Don’t you love it when you get what you want?
