Continuing on with our new little tradition, Holly did a 3 year-old painting. She used a fine paint brush and was really intent on gettng the little details just right. She takes a lot of pride in her art work. I see a skull when I look at this one, which is kind of cool. And a little embaressing that that's all I see when I look at it. But I love it. I'm happy to have a little skull painting in my home. Obviously Holly made it abstract and didn't intentionally paint a skull, so I'm not worried about her mental state. She's into circles, small details and zig-zagging (or writing words in her mind). Love, love, love having my girl paint! I can't wait to see what the future years will bring us. Oh, one more thing, Holly is still so proud of her 2 year-old painting. I love the boost of confidence displaying her art gives her.
