Some women want diamonds, I wanted a chest freezer. Conor and I bought a small 5 cubit foot chest freezer this past fall and I've had a lot of fun filling it with meals so that we don't starve when Greta's born.

Here's what's in our freezer:

Sigh! It feels so good to have a filled-up freezer of healthy, homemade meals. Hopefully we'll be able to use them sooner than later. I'm 3cm dilated and very uncomfortable. Fingers are crossed for this week being the one!

I hope you all have a fun weekend planned. I plan on tying up some loose ends around the house (hanging Holly's roman blind, organizing the linen closet, etc) and going into labour. I probably won't get my wish, but I'm really hoping! Here's what I've been wanting to share with you this week:

sweet aprong
  • Super fun apron cuz a girl can never have enough.
  • Totally crushing on this Fabric Valentines Garland. I don't know what it is about V-day, but I just love it!
  • Anyone else craving homemade caramel sauce?
  • Currently trying to figure out how to incorporate Faux Bois floors into my home.
  • These socks would make Greta look pulled together every day (and make me look like a better mother!).

Of all the holidays, Valentine's Day is one of my absolute favourites and one of the only ones I really enjoy getting into and decorating for. The other night I made a crocheted heart garland from some leftover yarn. I strung it on our bookshelves and I think once February is over, I'll string it downstairs in the basement and add a little fun down there.

Conor took this photo of me on Sunday. I think I look pretty good for being 37 weeks pregnant. I was really hoping this would be my last pregnancy photo, but it looks like I still have some more time left to be pregnant. About a week ago, I started to get more uncomfortable than I ever remember being with Holly. I'm so done! I have just about every "sign of labour" possible. Only problem is, I've started to get nervous about taking care of two children. I'm trying to think confident thoughts and I'm hoping that's enough to overcome the anxiety that I'm feeling. I can do it!

37 weeks

If I had unlimited baby funds here's a few things I'd love to get for Greta:

Bunny one-piece from Gap.bunny one piece
Sausalito Basket from Serena&Lily.sausolito basket
A handmade munchkin hat via Etsy.munchkin hat
A Noonie from Lala's Pequanos.noonie
