Holly was instantly in love with her baby sister. The first thing she did once she got close enough was kiss her. Honestly, I cried.

Greta Elizabeth was born on Febraury 7th at exactly 9pm. She weighed 5lbs 1.7oz and was 19.75 inches long. I think she's the prettiest newborn I've ever seen!

Yes, Greta Elizabeth is here. And she is the prettiest little thing I've ever seen. Please bear with me as I hang on. Breastfeeding has been impossible and I've never been in more physical pain in all my life. If anyone has any great tips for drying up milk, please let me know.

In the meantime, I'll try to post photos as soon as I can. Greta will melt your heart.

No baby yet. I seem to be stuck at only a third of the way there and not very many contractions at all. Baby seems to be comfy-cozy while I'm far from it. Luckily, the end is in sight. If Greta doesn't make her grand appearance by Tuesday, I'll be induced. Which won't be too synthetic as breaking my water should do the trick. Luckily, each day I've had good things to look forward too. Unfortunately, those good things typically involve food and I can't eat much - there's no more room!

Here's hoping Greta comes quickly and smoothly...

I am so blessed. Look at my beautiful daughter. And I get to have another one. I also get to stay at home and care for them and watch them grow. Last night, I rocked Holly to sleep. It was such a treat - she actually let me cradle her in my arms while she fell asleep. That never happens anymore. Conor took some photos of Holly and I today. I'm 38 weeks.

During Holly's (long) nap, I made Greta and itty bitty pettiskirt. It's super cute!
