Conor and I gave Holly a beautiful pearl bracelet. I love it on her! Maybe we’ll make a habit of giving her a bracelet each Christmas.

Cute, eh?

With love,
Katie, Conor and Holly

Holly is still getting used to her cousin Felix who is 5 weeks older than she is. And as the youngest of 4, I think Felix likes having someone littler and less capable than he around. All the same, Holly wasn’t so keen on becoming a chew toy. I think this series of photos is rather humorous.

Lucky us, we didn’t get any of the Santa drama. Holly was totally content to sit on his knee especially after we told her he’s comin’ to town with lots of goodies for good girls and boys.

I was lucky enough to be a tester of the ingenious Puj Tub. Of course, excitement bubbled throughout the apartment when our big, flat package arrived. Yes, flat. The Puj Tub is flat when not in use. It uses nifty, easy folding and magnets to shape into a perfectly sized tub for a bathroom sink. My little test subject, Holly – 5 months old, seemed to like the tub well enough despite it completely limiting her splashing abilities. She did quite enjoy placing her hand in the running tap water. Holly may be a small baby, however she filled up that little white tub real good. I wasn’t sure if I should leave the tap on or turn it off. I decided to leave it on because I didn’t want to freeze my baby when it first gets turned on nor did I want to accidentally burn her. I did have Conor grab me a plastic cup to aid with the rinsing. The sitting position made it easier to get to and clean Holly’s more roll-filled parts. And she was happy to lay in there with the warm water running. She didn’t seem to miss splashing in the tub. And my back, elbows and knees didn’t hurt by the end of it!

I don’t think this tub will be a part of our “every bath routine” just because Holly likes to splash and I like to let her play in the bathtub, however, I really wish I could have had this puppy when Holly was first born. Conor and I were nervous about her first bath and I think a lot of our fears would’ve been eased had we had this Puj tub. The place on my back where I received my epidural was quite painful for the 2 to 3 weeks after birth and bending over was uncomfortable. Have a Puj tub would’ve really helped when it came to bath time.

I had no fears of Holly drowning or anything like that in this tub. It felt really safe. I don’t think the little gal could’ve gotten out of there either. And Holly looked so relaxed and happy while she was in there. It was cute!

Although I won’t be using this tub for all our baths, you can bet I’ll be using it for when Holly needs a quick wash down. You know, for those times when she fills her diaper and her pants. And I do look forward to using it for future newborn babes. The best part, because the Puj Tub stores flat, I don’t even have to worry about it taking up valuable storage space in our apartment.

I definitely recommend this tub for Moms and Dads of little babies. I think we would’ve given Holly her first bath (at home) sooner if we had a Puj Tub.
