This past weekend Conor, Holly and I enjoyed the Colorado Outdoors and went tree-cutting with the Jensens. We, ourselves, did not cut down a tree for our apartment seeing as we would not be able to fully enjoy it and currently there are two love seats crowding our living room. However, we did quite enjoy offering our opinions to our companions. We went tobogganing and hiked around, sipped hot chocolate and ate homemade breakfast burritos. Will this become an annual tradition for the Muirheads? I sure hope so!

Love,
The Muirheads

More Lobster Loving here and here.

What is this? Canada? We’ve gotten over a foot of snow in the past two nights and one day, with a potential of 8 more inches today. This weekend is supposed to warm up. Welcome to slushy town. We’ve been a little under the weather in another way too. This morning, Holly sounded like her cousin Seger. We’re taking grunting to a whole new level!

And a Lobster sneak peek! Holly is so stinking cute! Maybe one day she’ll learn to relax that brow. Maybe…

One of the best purchases Conor and I have ever made is our Flip Mino. We bought it 3 months ago and so far I have taken 156 video clips, adding up to over 80 minutes. I love that it’s so little (it fits perfectly into a pocket on our still camera bag) and I also love that it has the USB plug built right in, which to me means no cords to keep track of! I have made and shared 34 videos, mostly of Holly. These days I seem to whip it out more than our Canon Rebel XT! If you’re thinking about purchasing a video camera, I highly recommend the Flip Mino. We have a Sony camcorder and never really used it. The Mino is just so much more convenient!

While in Albuquerque I fell in love with the colour turquoise, roses in October, and hacienda style living.
