It’s been nearly two weeks of feeling yucky. In the past few days the yuckiness evolved into something atrocious. I’ve been careful to monitor my temperature, but I’ve never ran a fever, so I guess this is a mutated cold that seems like the swine but isn’t. Holly hasn’t been feeling well either. She’s had lots of trouble sleeping and has been on a nap strike for the past 2 or 3 days. Every time I would nurse her, she would just fall asleep because she was so tired and obviously needed comfort. Fortunately, last night was a much better night. My poor baby actually slept her normal length so I’m hoping she’ll nap today. Holly’s not much of a crier however this week she’s been on the verge of wailing all the time. Welcome to motherhood Katie.
You could say it’s an obsession. Holly needs a sister whom she can share a room that that would be jam-packed with nesting doll paraphernalia. Here’s a little taste of what I’m L-O-V-I-N-G!
Fabric for matchy-matchy quilts
Cutie Pie doll to rest on bed
I think I’m going to have to bite the bullet and make these, they’re just that cute!
I would happily receive this card in the mail and put it in a frame for Christmas
I’m officially on the look-out for [affordable] nesting doll fabric. Oh how I wish Holly had a room of her own!
This past weekend Conor, Holly and I enjoyed the Colorado Outdoors and went tree-cutting with the Jensens. We, ourselves, did not cut down a tree for our apartment seeing as we would not be able to fully enjoy it and currently there are two love seats crowding our living room. However, we did quite enjoy offering our opinions to our companions. We went tobogganing and hiked around, sipped hot chocolate and ate homemade breakfast burritos. Will this become an annual tradition for the Muirheads? I sure hope so!

What is this? Canada? We’ve gotten over a foot of snow in the past two nights and one day, with a potential of 8 more inches today. This weekend is supposed to warm up. Welcome to slushy town. We’ve been a little under the weather in another way too. This morning, Holly sounded like her cousin Seger. We’re taking grunting to a whole new level!
And a Lobster sneak peek! Holly is so stinking cute! Maybe one day she’ll learn to relax that brow. Maybe…
