Conor: “What happened to the girl I married?”
Katie: “She grew up. She’s nearly twenty you know.”

Conor and I both have a deep loving for clothing; shoes, pants, shirts… every aspect of clothing. I’m almost comfortable with the fact that Conor has more clothes than me. The only time I don’t like it is when I go to the closet to pick out a shirt and I have to push and shove to grab a top! Last night Conor and I flipped through his side of the closet and eliminated 15 shirts, half of which are collared shirts. Despite our valiant attempts the closet is still rather full. I have ideas of what I’m going to do with the shirts that are no longer wearable. The woven shirts I’ll use for quilts, etc and for the knit t-shirts I found this really great idea in my January Martha Stewart Living magazine. I’m going to make T-Shirt Shopping Bags. Should be cute.
What do you do with your clothes that aren’t being worn anymore? I know there’s the classic Good Will solution, but does anyone have any other nifty ideas?
Disclaimer: I regularly flip through my clothes and purge. A few shirts here and there really adds up!
I’m concerned that there will be some disappointment with the gossip I’m about to reveal. As far as I heard, my body was fully analyzed by Daria and Nathan. I heard the conclusion and had to laugh. No, I’m not pregnant – that wouldn’t be gossip if I said it! The wonderful tidbit of information I’m about to share almost puts a Muirhead to shame. Ready?
My Dad, William Blake Scott McNeill, wants an iphone. Let marinate for a minute and then pick your jaw up off the keyboard. Conor and I were asked for a price quote. It’s a serious request. Oh and it was an ipod Christmas at the McNeills. That’s where it all starts and then bam! pc’s are no longer the hottest thing. Check out the Christmas Mac commercial. It cracks me up!!
So that’s my hot gossip. Hope it made you smile!!
Okay! Soup’s in the crockpot (a McNeill tradition), bathroom has been thoroughly cleaned, kitchen is tidy, bedroom could use some work, vacuum still needs to be pulled out, but we’re in good shape. So why doesn’t it feel like Christmas? I’m not sure. For starts Conor is sick which is really quite horrible. One of the foremost rules of Christmas is to be healthy. Now I live in fear of getting the same thing he’s struggling with. I’m a little paranoid. Ha. I am glad I bought Clorox disinfecting bathroom cleaner that kills the flu virus (influenza A virus – Hong Kong). Hopefully it kills “brutal cold.” I am armed with lysol wipes, which I usually only use after dealing with raw chicken (I try to avoid bleach since I’ve ruined a fair share of shirts). We don’t have a tree, our decorations are rather meager and well it’s just us! So I guess we’ll just have to put on our most joyous Christmas faces and enjoy whatever spirit we can sap outta today and tomorrow! I can’t wait to have kids. I swear they’ll make Christmas real.
Woo hoo for Christmas! Here is 2007 Holiday Catalogue Katie. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

Stay tuned because after Christmas I’ll be sharing some juicy and true gossip that’ll leave you speechless! Ooo what could it be?!
