Yesterday, for lunch, I made Easy Asian Turkey Lettuce Wraps, an effortless and appetizing meal. I opted out of the peanut oil and the green onions. I also followed the advice of my fellow cooks and used romaine lettuce (plus that’s what we had in the fridge…). I highly recommend this delightful dinner.

Catalogue Katie is taking a break this week as she was unable to attend church due to an ailment. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Super Saturday was great! It was a craft-filled day (afternoon in my case) and I quite enjoyed the ease of it. I didn’t need to bring paint or sandpaper. It was all there when I arrived. Perfect! It sure helped me get into the Christmas spirit (and get along with putting together gifts). I’ve decided that the thing that makes Super Saturday super is just chatting with friends well getting something done!

Last Sunday definitely needed to be all about comfort. I wore one of my favourite cashmere sweaters (which has the cutest buttons ever!), my grad shoes and a maternity skirt. I love maternity Sunday wear (from Gap anyways). It’s longer and it has a comfy wide waistband. Plus one day when I’m hugely pregnant and I can still wear it. Bonus! Oh and accessories – Pearls! Pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet. I LOVE my pearls!

Yesterday, Daniel Jensen picked Conor up from work because he and his wife, Julie, were staying for supper. So Conor brought this printer home. And dropped his phone as he was putting it in the car. Conor and Daniel went back to look for it only to find that it had been run over at least once. The screen is kaput and the antenna is a goner. I honestly couldn’t help but laugh at this one. No anger or remorse really because just looking at the phone makes me chuckle and shake my head. Conor thinks it’s a sign that he needs to get an iPhone and I think he needs to get a grip. May I point out that our iron, rice cooker and now a cell phone has gone to the grave (some more amusingly than others). Photo to follow as soon as WordPress begins working on my side.
