I think "science experiments" may be the funnest thing for Holly. For this science experiment, I sprinkle baking soda in the bottom of a 9x9 glass pan and then gave Holly a couple small jars of dyed vinegar and a couple eye droppers. Holly needed some help to get the hang of the eye droppers. Those will help with fine motor skills and strengthening muscles in the hand. Holly loved this! She giggled when she saw the bubbles. We talked a little bit about what made big (or lots of) bubbles and what made small (or few) bubbles. More vinegar equalled more bubbles! We did this 3 times and each time, Holly dumped the remainder of the vinegar into the pan and laughed at all the bubbles. It was really fun and I think it'll be a regular in our home because baking soda and vinegar are so cheap! Definitely do this with your child and let me know if you do!

This isn't my original idea, but I can't find exactly where I got it from! Sorry!

PS: Holly isn't wearing her princess dress because she had an accident. She wore a different dress instead! She wears this dress when we're going out of the house.

I've decided to forgo trick-or-treating tonight (bad mom?) because we got candy at ballet, Conor's office, our ward trunk or treat, a Halloween party and we went trick-or-treating in downtown Los Altos this afternoon. I'm kind of sick of candy. Except peanut butter cups. Never sick of those!

Holly is awesome! She's such a go getter! She was super excited when it was her turn to go get that donut on the string and she did not disapoint. I'm so glad my camera had enough juice for these photos. Yessir, my daughter is awesome! I love this little girl!

I kind of have a bit of an obsession with hearts. I love the shape and I love the meaning. Last week, while I was brushing my teeth one evening, I had an idea! I quickly finished up, and then pulled out some graph paper and unloaded my idea. Perfect. I love it! I'm so excited about this new design! I have so many ideas for it. I hope you like it too. My first "littlest love" quilt is finished and available for purchase in my shop, Lucky No. 7.

Today, all the girls wore their Halloween costumes to dance class and us parents watched. It was so fun! Holly loves her ballet class. She loves anything ballet. She now has shortened Angelina Ballerina to just Angie. Greta was so happy to be able to sneak in and pretend she was in Holly's ballet class. The other night, I put Greta to bed in her ballerina shirt because I could not take it off of her! This class was also round one of candy. Ugh. Holly LOVES candy so much!
