It's the kind of year where I take pictures of the ornaments I made when I'm taking them off the tree. This year's ornaments were embroidered using a Sampler Pattern from Purl Soho. I really enjoyed making them primarily in the company of Ted Lasso.

I made salt dough ornaments this year too. I made handprint Santas of the youngest three's hands. They turned out really cute and only took two tries!

This year's ornaments were nice and simple. I used up scraps of fabric from our favorite Christmas quilt and used this Scandinavian Fabric Stars Tutorial. Holly and Greta chose which strips of fabric they wanted to have used in their stars. I made a few extra. These little stars are a great little project!

This is the 4th year I've made my girls an ornament for Christmas time. This year, I made Santa Claus ornaments (free pattern). Holly and Greta are kind of Santa Claus crazy (can you blame them? The guy brings presents!). I love how the ornaments turned out - they're really cute! The girls were happy with them. We very happily set up our Christmas tree yesterday. I love this time of year!
