Yesterday, Conor and I were both upstairs in the loft for about 10 minutes. When we came down, Conor asked me where Holly was. I told him she was probably under our stairs (spiralled, in the kitchen), which happens to be one of her favourite hangouts. Turns out I was right. BUT Holly wasn't just under the stairs pulling things off the shelves (under the stairs acts as an impromptu pantry), she was eating mini marshmallows happy as can be. When Conor called her on it, she was fully aware that she was totally busted, and she came crawling out. However, the kid was not about to leave her sweet find behind, so out she came with a marshmallow in each fist. And of course, we let her eat both of them! Conor and I will be laughing about this for the rest of our lives!

Well folks, I did it! I went sugar free for 3 weeks and totally survived. It was hard. Last night we went to a party where the most ultimate ice cream sundaes and cones were being served. Hot fudge + vanilla ice cream is pretty much my favourite! Lucky for me, the host is one of my best buddies and she made me a smoothie. There were lots of opportunities to eat treats and desserts (and really good ones at that) in the past 3 weeks, but I resisted. The things I wanted the most was frozen custard and warm chocolate chip cookies. It was a good learning experience too. I found out when I want treats the most so I know when to watch out for those cravings now.

This morning, I ate a bunch of taffies from a birthday party we went to on Saturday. They're the same brand of taffies that our friends brought to us in the hospital the day after Holly was born. And they came all the way from California. Yum!

Now the plan is to not dive back into sweet-eating, but rather eat treats more sparingly than I did before. Can I do it? Yes I can!

Holly is so adorable when she sleeps. Almost every night, before I go to bed, I go upstairs and take a peek at my sleeping baby. I love looking at her when she's fast asleep.

Last week, I took some more photos of my friends. You may remember Baby Isaac from the photos I took of him while he was still in the hospital and the photos I took of him shortly after he came home. Isaac's now just over 4 months old! Here are my favourite photos from our most recent shoot. Enjoy!
