You grow up the day you have your first real laugh at yourself.

Earlier this week, I had my last cooking class of the Cooking Essentials One series at Cook Street. Boy, was it ever good! We made an out of control Sunday dinner. Yummy! First Onion Panade (similar to french onion soup), then Beef Rib Roast au Jus, Gratin of Potato (with heavy cream), Haricots Verts with Tarragon-Almond Butter and for dessert, Crepes Suzette. Honestly, I felt sick the next day because the food was just that rich. But I did not regret it!

This was super easy to make and equally delicious. I have to make it soon!
The trick to making this so delicious was steeping the cream with herbs, and half an onion.
The crepes were seasoned with cinnamon and ginger and then topped with orange curd and caramel. Yum!
This is what I came home to. Holly cried all night and then finally fell asleep in Conor's arms.

Holly and I have talked about it and we'd like to switch to cloth diapers. Just kidding, she's had no part in the decision. But I do think she'll enjoy some benefits from wearing cloth diapers. So now the question is which diapers to choose? Do any of you use cloth diapers? Have you heard of any favourite brands from friends? Any tips, tricks, advice?

Please help to enlighten me. I'm leaning towards gDiapers and Gro Baby. I like the idea of a one size because then I don't really have to buy more and they'll work for baby #2. So now, my dear readers, what do you think?

PS: Weird how today's post is on Earth Day. Total coincidence. Or is it...?

You may remember this wrap dress from the guest post I did on You Are My Fave.  I had to alter the sleeves since they kind of hurt my arms. I never really have considered my arms to be fat, but maybe I should lift weights more than once every couple weeks. Holly's dress is Liberty of London from Target. Don't even get me started on this line. It's soo cute, but impossible to find. I ordered a bunch of stuff on March 15th and the majority of it isn't scheduled to be delivered until June 1-3. Let's just say Target and I had a chat.

I like bass. No, I love bass. And I am a self proclaimed fish hater. I'm not kidding when I say these cooking classes are life changing.

For class 3, we made grilled Cesaer Salad, grilled Bass with Romesco sauce and Mojo Sauce, grilled Asparagus, Couscous Stuffed Tomatoes (with kalamato olive and feta cheese), and Chocolate Souffle. I did not want to stop eating! It was soooo good!

In one of the rooms at the school is the wall of Kitchenaid hooks, flat paddles and whisks. Heaven on Earth.Kitchenaid accessories

PS: Tonight I had my last class and it was good! Stay tuned.
