I try hard to make it out to Strathmore whenever I'm in Calgary to visit my Gramma. She's so dear to me. It was lovely to take the kiddos out for a little visit. Next time we'll order in pizza. I love you Gramma!

We learned how to make fancy sugar cookies. My Mom taught us how and it was a lot of fun! The girls especially enjoyed making all sorts of fancy creations. I've never flooded sugar cookies before and it's a pretty satisfying thing to do. It was special to be in town to do this with my Mom and not just seeing photos on the family chat. 

Ah, it feels so good to get the body moving over the holidays. I went on a little walk with my parents, my sister and the big girls. It was so lovely to spend even just these little moments together.

We went to Calgary for Christmas, and one of our first things to do was to build a gingerbread house with my niece, Theia. It was a fun little activity for the cousins to do together and it was really nice to hang out with my sister and her family. 

Ornaments, nightgowns and this quilt were the items I made for Christmas gifts. I backed this quilt in flannel which is the new must for every quilt I make. It makes the quilt extra cozy! This was a gift for someone I watch over at church. It may have been me serving in my style, but it was service nonetheless.
