This may have not been the best use of my time, but I do so little sewing these days. I made Maeve's a little snow babies dress. It's pretty big on her even though I made it in size 6-12 months. I'll likely loosen the elastic next winter and she can wear it as a tunic! I think it's pretty cute and this my favorite dress pattern.

One afternoon, the girls and I built snowmen. Some things are just worth taking the time to do.

I'm not sure what the technical relation of these two are, but we are sticking with cousins! So glad Esther and her crew could come spend some time with us. Holly and Greta loved having one more baby in the house and a couple of friends to play with.

Staying true to the baby code of honor, Maeve cried when Santa held her. Greta whispered to me, "that's a fake Santa," when she saw the big guy with a fake beard. Can't pull the wool (or beard) over her eyes!

One of my favorite things we've done this winter is skate on a local pond. It was so fun and easy. Under the ice we could see a frozen turtle and a frozen frog. Maeve really loves to be outdoors, so even though she was chilly in the stroller, she had a lovely time! I love getting on skates and having a childhood of memories come flooding in!
